About our Name
The name Auryn Mining Advisory is inspired by Auryn (pronounced “Or-in”), which is derived from the Celtic word for gold and the Latin aurum, symbolising excellence, enduring value and the heritage of the gold mining industry, while also reflecting the founder’s Celtic roots. Advisory represents our partnership-led, collaborative approach to delivering high-quality, practical outcomes and long-term value for our clients.
About our Logo
Our logo reflects both our origins and our work, with layered forms symbolising the earth, strong foundations and the depth of expertise we bring to our clients. Inspired by the landscapes and coastline of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, its flowing, wave-like form and earthy tones also subtly reference an underground tunnel, reflecting our connection to mining, sustainability and long-term growth.
Our History
Founded in 2019 by Tully Davies, B. Eng (Min), MAppFin, our consultancy service began its life as RKS Mining and transformed into Auryn Mining Advisory in 2025. Based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia, we have grown into a trusted name in the industry, recognised for the strong relationships we build and the confidence our clients place in our expertise and professionalism.
With experience spanning across Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, China, Indonesia, Philippines, Bosnia and Herzegovina, we have worked on a diverse range of projects across multiple commodities, including gold, copper, base metals and industrial minerals. Our hands-on approach and deep industry knowledge have allowed us to provide practical, results-driven solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
